Catch Up Post

Wow the last few days have been BUSY!!  Thursday was open house and orientation at school.  Thomas got to go visit his classroom and meet with Ms. Ceil and Ms. Semmetria.  He had a ball and now he is really EXCITED about going to school.  He asked me yesterday "Who is ready to go to school"? And then he said "Thomas Whitehurst is" Ha!!  He really soaked up everything Ms. Ceil said...I could really see his little wheels turning!

                                  



                                    


                                                                    Seeing the fish was "right up his alley".  He had just spent the day with Dan-Dan and Pop at the lake and he told us he caught blue gills!  I think he is going to learn so much and have so much fun!  I told Ms. Ceil and Ms. Semmetria that I would be praying for them! Ha!

Yesterday Thomas and I went to Dothan to get school clothes.  Tori didn't go because she was baby-sitting Campbell and Collins.  We met Steve and ate at the Food Court at the mall.  Thomas loves Chick-Fil-A and that is what he wanted.  He also wanted to ride the merry-go-round and the little cars that you pay to ride.  He also wanted to rent a stroller to ride in...the fire truck.  It cost $7.00 which was a little high I thought, but he had so much fun riding it.  He would say "we are about to take a left straight ahead and then we will turn back right" .  It was well worth the money... we will for sure do that again!

                                    

After shopping we went to the Dothan Nursery which Thomas LOVES to do!  We looked around for a little while and it was SOOO hot!  We didn't stay very long.  We came home and I cooked supper and Cindy, Dodd, Collins, and Mama came to eat with us.  Tori was gone to Luverne to eat with Adam and Campbell was gone to Aunt Cathy's.  Collins put on a show for us...she is so close to walking.  As a matter of fact, she took a few steps on her own!  It won't be long!
